Indore, Madhya Pradesh's Chief Minister Mohan Yadav recently unveiled a new 128-slice CT scan machine at MGM Medical College’s Super Specialty Hospital. At the same event, he also inaugurated a newly constructed G+2 block at the Government Dental College, costing approximately Rs 6 crore. The medical college administration mentioned that the advanced CT scan machine, provided by the Power Grid Corporation of India Limited as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, will greatly enhance the hospital's diagnostic capabilities. Yadav cut the ribbon of the CT scan room during the inauguration and was briefed on the machine’s features. Additionally, the newly constructed building, addressing space constraints identified by the Dental Council of India, and other enhancements like an OPG machine and 75 dental chair units will benefit students and outpatients. Chief Minister Yadav emphasized that these medical facilities reflect the government's dedication to improving healthcare services in the state. He noted that the advanced CT scan machine will aid in early disease detection and precise diagnoses, while the new dental college building will provide top-notch facilities for students. During his visit to Indore, Yadav also inspected the upcoming ISBT at MR-10, set to be operational by December, and announced plans for India's largest inter-state bus terminal in the city. This modern terminal, designed like an airport, will be a significant landmark for Indore and the state, enhancing the state's overall infrastructure.The construction of the 15-acre terminal facility at a cost of Rs 101 crore by IDA is set to enhance the travel experience for passengers attending the upcoming Simhastha religious gathering. The terminal can handle up to 80,000 passengers daily and accommodate 1,440 buses round the clock. It includes 14 ticket counters, a 1,000-vehicle parking facility, 43 bus platforms, a VIP lounge, a food court, and various other amenities. Additionally, the Chief Minister inaugurated a library at Holkar Science College and reassured employees at the Sanchi Dairy Plant that there will be no layoffs. The MP government aims to boost the state’s dairy sector and support dairy cooperatives. The Chief Minister also unveiled the statue of martyr Amrita Devi Bishnoi at the city forest, honoring her community's dedication to protecting the environment. During his visit to Indore, the Chief Minister sought blessings from Praman Sagar Maharaj, and learned about the 'Health of Indore Campaign', which has conducted blood tests for around 50,000 people.
